Yes! It can be frustrating and annoying after spending 4 -6 years in the tertiary institution (depending on their choice of study), plus the ASUU strike saga and not secure a good job.

After graduating from the tertiary Institution, serving your father’s land with all zeal and happiness, and you end up not getting the job you long desired for. One will agree with me that there is a need for the youths and individual’s to go into entrepreneurship to create job opportunities for themselves, to reduce the rate of unemployment and also impact lives positively.

In addition, there is also need for those who don’t find fulfillment in the 8 -5 job to venture into something they enjoy doing to create the future they have ever wanted.

The idea or the mindset behind starting up one’s business is called ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Most people shy away from entrepreneurship because they either enjoy staying in their comfort zone of being paid monthly, no sufficient capital to startup a business or they are not ready for the stress involved.

Once you find your work very enjoyable, it gives rooms for actualization of your potentials and ability to deliver your potentials well .This gives room for growth and expansion and it gives room for success on the long run.

Most entrepreneurs don’t believe their work to be “actual” work because they go for their interests. Due to that, they are able to enjoy and deliver well and reach their target because they enjoy what they do.

Entrepreneurship gives room for you to pick the set of people to work with because you are the one running your show. Let’s face the truth, one of the most attractive aspects of being an entrepreneur is the flexibility factor. Flexibility in this context means that you’re not on a set schedule .Being tied down to just one area holds you back from fulfilling all of your skills. Entrepreneurs carry a loaded agenda. You want to be able to complete every single task that you propose yourself and being flexible optimizes the chances of that happening. Life throws curveballs at you and being an entrepreneur allows you to make adjustments, even if they appear to be last minute.

9. GIVES ROOM TO CREATE YOUR FUTURE

The best way to predict a future is to create it. Entrepreneurship gives you room to create the future that you have always created in your head.Different things are happening everywhere, economy policies are changing but as an entrepreneur regardless of the things happening around they just have to make the future they have created happen. They try as much as possible to create the future.

10. AN ENTREPRENEUR IS SEEN AS LEADER

An entrepreneur is seen in the eyes of many as a figure that sets trends and innovates in their own right. These are just two of the qualities that separate a leader from a follower. Leaders take risks and hustle. A follower simply goes with the flow of the river. A leader asks questions while a follower aimlessly looks for answers. Being a leader can be a double-edged sword. Yes, it can make or break you but the thrill of being in the driver’s seat on the road to life should be plenty of motivation to succeed.
